Another Disappointing game for Manchester United!


Portsmouth 1-1 Manchester utd
United took the lead when new signing Carlos Tevez set up Paul Scholes who fired in from 25 yards.Portsmouth equalised when Benjani sent a superb header past Edwin van der Sar.Sulley Muntari earned a second yellow for a late tackle on Michael Carrick, while Cristiano Ronaldo saw red for his part in a fracas with Richard Hughes.

Reading 1- Chelsea 2
Chelsea scored twice in three minutes to maintain their 100% record as goalkeeper Petr Cech endured an uncomfortable return to Reading.Cech, who fractured his skull last season in the game at Reading, made an awful hash of a punch allowing Andre Bikey to put the home side ahead.But Frank Lampard's run and shot early in the second half and Didier Drogba's curling effort put Chelsea 2-1 up.Reading went down to 10 men when debutant Kalifa Cisse was red-carded.

Manchester City 1 - 0 Derby
Manchester City broke a 780-minute Premier League scoring drought at Eastlands as Sven-Goran Eriksson's honeymoon period continued with a 1-0 win over Derby.Andy Griffin battles Vedran CorlukaMichael Johnson's well-taken winner was City's first league goal on home soil since New Year's Day.

Birmingham 2-2 Sunderland
Stern John stunned his old club with a last minute leveller as Roy Keane's Sunderland once again showed never-say-die spirit in spades in a 2-2 draw at Birmingham.

Fulham 2-1 Bolton
Fulham came from behind to beat Bolton 2-1 and leave Sammy Lee's men still searching for their first Premier League points of the season.

Wigan 1-0 Middlesbrough
Antoine Sibierski scored on his home debut to secure a deserved victory for Wigan against Middlesbrough. The striker reacted well on 54 minutes to slide home after Mark Schwarzer could only parry a low drive.
