African Champions League Matches took place this weekend in different cities. In Group one Al Ittihad of Libya won JS Kabylie of Algeria by a goal to nil in Tripoli. The goal came in five minute to go on the second half to give a surprise victory for first time group phase participants.

On Group Two, holders Ahly needed two goals in the last five minute of the game to beat al hilal of Sudan in Cairo. Flavio and Osama Hosni both scored after coming off from the bench. On the other hand, Tunisia's Esperance and Asec Mimosas of the Ivory Coast drew 0-0 in Tunis. The next match will be played on July 6-8, 2007.
